DAY 3. We are in Salt Lake City, UT. Largely uneventful day. Sophy's mileage suffered a bit when running harder in the foothills, Jim Adney has a slight weeping injector and one exhaust valve that is tightening up a little, and Keith nearly lost one of his two tailpipes. It is still hanging on and we will wire it back up tomorrow morning. Will likely check Jim's valves again in the morning too. All in all, a very good day. Was a blast coming down the mountains into SLC. Sophy handles great! Only downer of the day was the accident between an older LTD and a semi. It was in clean-up mode, but didn't look like the drive of the car would have had much of a chance of surviving the damage. A little sobering. Tomorrow we go to Lakeview, OR which will only leave us a short day Thursday to make the BBQ. See you all in a few days!!!!!
