There are probably more than 2 eras, plus there are right side and left side 
for both RHD and LHD.

Those early ones are even harder to find, and more valuable, than the later 
ones which would be correct for your '72.

I have glass and a whole box of parts, but I don't think I have ANY OE mirrors 
that I'd be willing to sell. They are just really hard to find in good 
condition. Tell me exactly what's stripped. I might have the part to fix it. I 
even have the tap to chase out the threads in your door, in case those have 
been damaged.
