of Lake Tahoe from San Francisco. Tahoe is a go there, go back kind of trip unless you are heading east. Oregon is North, and from the San Francisco area it's about
a 4-5 hour drive, one way, depending on exactly where
you are coming from.

The Riverside Lodge Motel appears to be in Oregon
according to Google.
