It always amazes me how folks that do that kinda thing for a living screw up the trim. All the short lip seals will leak, the long lip ones don't. You can pull the lip up and clean out the groove THROUGHLY and run a bead of RTV all the way around and lay the lip back down. Keith I have this problem with my windshield...brand new windshield and seal. The place that worked on it-kind of screwed up the trim that sits in the gasket, and were kind of a pain in the butt to deal with. So inever went back. I didn't think they would be able to do anything...maybe I should ask about injecting a sealer. -Kevin '71 FI squareback '65 kombi somerville, ma -----Original Message----- From: Greg Merritt [mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org] Looks like a rain/water leak has developed in my front windshield seal near the lower left corner.
