And the K in K Jetronic stands for Krappy idle :-) Keith > Small history lesson I picked up. The D-Jetronic takes its name from D for Druck, which means pressure in German. The D-Jet uses manifold pressure for determing load. The L-Jetronic takes its name from L for Luft, which means air. The L-Jet uses an air meter for determining load- in the form of an air flap. The H in LH-Jetronic is H for Heiss, for hot. It uses a corona wire in its air meter (the Mass Airflow Sensor, or MAF) instead of the air flap.
