[T3] Clutch Troubles

Hello, I have problem that I was woundering if I
could get help on? Last weekend I went to back my
Fastback off of the trailer that I had been keeping it
on for the winter so that I could prep if for the new
floors, I stopped to get out to move something, and
when I got back in to finish backing it off, nothing
happened. My clutch pedal has been laying on the floor
(towards the back of the car) along with the brake
since I got it due to a 3" diamiter hole underneath it
where the stop should be. I got back in and went to
pick the clutch back up and it was not there. It had
come to rest up against the fire wall, and can move
freely back and forth with no friction.
Today I jacked it up and cwraled underneath thinking
that something I had backed over had gotten stuck and
broke the cable and found that the cable was not
broken, so now I am lost and have no clue where to
look, or what to look for. I thought about removing
the whole pedal assembly but I do not know if it will
interupt anything. If you can help let me know< Thank
you.
