You'll need... 18 in the engine compartment (8 for the injectors, 4 for each end of the fuel tees, 2 at the pressure sensor, 2 for the CSV, 2 at the tunnel, . In the front, 14. 3 at the fuel pump, 2 at the bulkhead, 2 at the fuel tank, 2 on the fuel filter, 2 at the damper, 3 on the return line tee. Grand total of 32. Buy extras in case my count is off. :) The Goodyear hose is nice, I trust it, and it happens to be stamped with a date of manufacture along its length so I'll know its age when it comes to replacement. I did use FI grade hose at the injectors themselves, but that was probably unnecessary. I had some leftover from the fuel filter change on my Passat. Make sure you replace the hoses on the injectors. You'll need to cut the ferrules, but they have a normal barb.underneath. Changing out the hoses is a little tedious, but it beats having your car burst into flames. all the hoses on mine were replaced at some point, likely in various stages, as none of the fuel hose was of the original cloth braided type, including the injectors. There's a whole bunch of VW Service invoices that say "customer reports fuel smell...".
