I would suggest that you get a good spring box, but then look to see if it would be less work to replace the whole spring box or just the broken springs. If you break the metal clips that hold the coil springs in place there are plenty more there as spares, but if you break the tabs that hold the spring boxes in place you might be SOL. To be fair, I can't quite visualize how the spring boxes are held on, so I just recommend that you look things over closely and then choose the course of action that is least likely to give you trouble. -- Jim Adney jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, WI 53711-3054 USA ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
