Hmmm there is a product called Goof-off that might do the trick, or perhaps as something as crude as charcoal starter but that would be pretty hazardous unless great care was used. Goof-off takes most anything off and you have no paint down there to worry about. Home Depot or Wal-Mart in the paint dept. Cheap, too... Go Joe handcleaner has amazing solvent properties as well, and is non-explosive as well! Not sure the Goof Off is non-flammable. Regards, Stephen J.
