[[[Rust holes on the floor NEVER arise due to rust thru from the outside. They are always due to water trapped on the inside.]]] I second that...so true! [[[I wonder if one could patch the holes, then use Por-15 as a coating AND adhesive to hold the panels back in place.]]] I'm a big POR-15 guy, when used correctly in the right applications. I too had some very tiny pin holes on my floor pan after I scraped and wire brushed it prior to treating with POR-15. Not enough rust damage to have to weld in new metal, but still wanted to make the area good and strong, so here's what I did......... After scraping and brushing floor pan, vacuumed off dust...por-15's metal ready....wet rinse and dry....2 coats POR-15 brushed on......then I used home depot's version of fiberglass resin with their fiberglass fabric........NICE! I'm very impressed with how it turned out, but in truth the car is still getting refurbished and has not been driven on the street since this was done, so I can't attest for the longevity of this repair.......but I'm betting it's gonna hold up pretty well!
