I'm interested in an all-season tire(I can't really afford two sets of
tires). My main interests are comfort and noise. I don't drive really fast
or anything crazy-so I don't need a high performance tire. I just want one
that helps keep road noise down, and doesn't transmit every bump.
You'll want a 165 SR 15, as that's the metric equivalent of the 6.00-15 bias
ply that might have came with the car originally. Depending on who you get
them from, you can get several different manufacturers that you'll have to choose
from. That choice is up to you. I get my tires from Discount tire, and have
Arizonian's on my Notch and wife's car. These ride great, don't transfer a lot
of road noise, and look pretty good. I really don't know how they wear though,
but the set on my wife's car had just been replaced after 8 years, due to
weather checking as tires do go bad. I hope this helps.
