Re: [T3] Last summers bone yard pics
<x-flowed>http://www.interstateusedparts.com/
Not a secret at all. But a hard place to get parts asap. The owner is a
dedicated vw individual that has no time to chat what so ever. I have know
him for a long time 15 years to be exact. There is literaly nothing you cant
dig up there. What you see is virtualy a third of what he has. Those
trailors you see in the pics are loaded FULL of VW parts. Some stored 20
years ago with out ever seening the light of day. No joke. I have wanted to
work there selling parts on comission for years but had never had the balls
to let go of main stream business stuff I do now.
If you are ever in the area, it is a must to stop. Just to take it in. If
you are fortunate to find the owner jim there, tell him notchboy sent you
and you are sure to get a grand tour and great prices on parts. The more $
you spend, the better the deal. Hes a great guy. I wish he had more time to
enjoy what hes amased.
This place is definatly one of the stops on all the Euro vendors lists. They
buy big and in bulk. Nothing beats solid original oem.

That looks like an amazing place. It's nice to know that there's still
good
Type 3 sheet metal to be found somewhere in the world. Would you care to
tell
us exactly where this is, or is it a trade secret? ;-)
