Your 65 has the sway bar Jim is referring to. It is the torsion bar connecting the upper trailing arms. This bar acts like a sway bar since it is only connected at the trailing arms and is not locked to the beam in any way.Note also that squares came with a slightly heavier sway bar than the other body styles.

Jim, do you mean don't buy anything earlier than 68? The words "after that " are throwing me off.
My 65 doesn't have sway bars so this will be a little different for me.
