Welcome to the list. I was going to mention Jason. If you need to ask him
questions, here's his e-mail; notchboy@satx.rr.com (Jason Weigel). I took it
from my archives from this past week. : ) He was very proud of that car,
documenting every step along the way during it's construction (in the Notchback
gallery of the Samba). I know he could probably tell you anything you need to know
about that car, even when certain items were replaced. :O
This list will be a large help to you in your familiarization of your car,
and it's workings. You might want to join the t-3 Samba forums too, as there is
a similar mix of early and late owners there, with the 1500 club well
represented. I hope this helps.
