>>I got the radius arm up a spline and bolted back to the axle using the floor >>jack/chain method BUT my torsion bar cover is about a bolt hole off ! So, >>I'm a little bewildered wondering what my next move ought to be? >> I'm sorry to jump in late on this one but... After adjust the height on my 65 probably 20 times and can tell you that you have to put the cover plate on BEFORE you load up the torsion arms. It goes like this... Adjust the arm to the position you want it in (rememmber to use a dial level to make sure both sides are the same ) Put the cover on the torsion bar and loosely screw in all four bolts. Then with your jack, lift the arm up and set it on the shoulder (if you can't get the arm in enough to sit on the shoulder, you can tighten up the bolts slightly to "push" the arm in)Tighten the bolts snug but not tight. Remove the jack. Fully tighten all bolts in an X pattern and your done. I'm trying to get my internet at home back on line by this afternoon so hopefully this info will help and I'll pop back in later. -- John 65 square (weezer) 04 jetta Just Cruisin By ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
