Has anyone used the TMI seat cushions? If so,
I have.
a) how good was the fit?
as a total noob. I thought the cushions fit rather poorly, I had to
stretch them in order to get the glued on lip around the edges, they
didn't want to stretch, and really didn't like staying in place. I
think if they were a little bigger they would have fit the seat better.
Made me think even I would have done better with my own foam. [ and
I'm more of an assembler than a fabricator. fabrication worries me as I
always screw it up. ]
and b) how good was the feel?. Are they made of the stiffer foam rubber
that is normally used in vehicle seating?
My car was to the springs, so I don't have enough context to say how
good the feel was.
needless to say they were much better.
The foam really seemed like regular old foam. Cut to shape with a
curved lip
glued around the edge,
someone motivated could probably do better, than their foam.
