It's kinda hard to hear over the starter and such things while up front. >AND >With the key ON and the coil disconnected, use a wrench to slowly >turn the engine over. Listen for the point where the injectors click, >which indicates that they are opening. You can also mimic this by >taking out the dist and turning it by hand, thus triggering the FI >trigger points. I'll try this also, like I said before I'm just looking for things I might have over looked. I was going to pull the injectors today, and verify if they were spraying. >If you don't hear the clicks, then there's some problem. It could be >anything from a bad ground, bad wiring, bad brain, to rust frozen >injectors. I've checked the harness, both before I started hooking things up (with it out of the car), so that I could repair anything if it needed it while I could still get to it, and after it was installed (to verify the correct connections. remember I am using a t-4 harness, but everything is hooked up like a 71 t-3 (thank god for a Bentley manual). >Or maybe your pump just hasn't run long enough to fill the fuel ring. >Are you actually getting fuel pressure back at the engine? Pump is running long enough to fill the ring, and I can even hear the bubbling in the fuel tank, along with the air rush out of the ring, back in the engine compartment. I've got the fuel pressure gauge installed in the engine compartment, and that's where I'm taking my reading for the fuel pressure. The t-4 D-jet system has the fuel gauge tap just like the t-3 uses. : ) Thanks for all the help. Bob 65 Notch S w/ Sunroof and IRS 71 Square, now a 2 seat Roadster, pics can be seen at; http://volksrods.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=2977 and now has a 2.0L t-4 with D-jet FI engine transplant, just finishing up the details. : ) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
