It could just stop the FI, or could damage the brain. I know that in some years, if one trigger point never closes (dirt in the gap) then the FI quits until you fix this problem. I don't know what happens if one contact stays closed all the time, but I just fixed a dist where this was the case, and he reported that it missed a lot and generally ran poorly. > Are we certain that the broken non-metalic washer was > indeed from the base of that pivot post?
