I've been following his posts on the Samba, and he has since replaced the 
clutch, with no change. Like Russ said, I believe he has a trans input shaft 
problem. :O 
My original thread was asking about a sound I was hearing back there, and was 
originally wondering if it could be a pilot bearing, or a throw out bearing 
going bad. I still haven' had a chance to fix mine, but I believe I've narrowed 
mine down to the bearing, as I can still drive mine. Later this week, I'll 
get to it, if not over the coming weekend as I've been working on a few other 
things that needed buttoning up, since I'll be needing the garage space for 
customer work.
