It COULD be a bit of dirt getting into the trigger points, but 
probably not. If you want to clean them, just remove them and slide a 
clean piece of paper thru there. Don't file them and don't let the 
paper snag and leave any lint behind.

Okay, that eliminates a lot of possibilities. The fuel pump, filter, 
main relay, ECU ground, fuel pump relay, fuel pressure regulator, gas 
tank, and the wiring to each of these is all fine.

Check dwell and timing. If the coil is not OE (black) Bosch, find a 
good original coil and replace it. If the points and condensor are 
not Bosch, replace with Bosch.

It's under the dash, mounted on the firewall, up and left from the 
steering column. You've already tested it and it was not the problem.

Vaporlock is not a possiblity with the FI fuel ring. It only happens 
on cars that have to suck fuel from the gas tank. The FI system 
delivers gas under pressure and the pump is under the tank where it 
is cool and the gas flows to the pump under the pressure of gravity..
