Having personally cut out that section for someone on the east coast I can say that it's not easy and I would never do it again. Not to mention that cutting out the same area that it's going into and welding it all back together. Not easy and not worth it. You'd be better off with some sheet metal, a metal brake, and welding in a self-built fabrication.
