There are at least 3 different pickup tube diameters and it looks like they supply adaptors for 2 of them. If necessary, you should be able to make something to work here. OTOH, my personal feeling is that there is a lot less to these sumps than meets the eye. For actual racing, where the engine is expected to run full bore on a clean course for some extended period there would be some advantage, but for street use the benefit is questionable and the hazard is serious. This sump would become the lowest part on your car, other than the tires. If you should ever hit something substantial on the road, it would likely destroy your engine. I know we'll have people popping up now and saying that they love theirs and have never had any problems with it, and I agree that such problems are rare, but it only takes one bad encounter to ruin your whole day. So, for a street car, since the cooling and oil supply is already fine, I just don't see the point. -- Jim Adney jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, WI 53711-3054 USA ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
