She actually has a replacement regulator new Bosch regulator, which apparently came with a generator replacement a while back. I don't remember the part number, but it really did look like one of the modern solid state jobs. It consisted of two main "chunks" or blocks, one below the other, each with that kind of molded plastic solid slab underneath.



Now that you
have a new battery, this is easy to check. Just use your voltmeter to measure...

We did a super-quick "multimeter 101", although you seemed to have the basics down just fine, Lilly. Thanks for posting these voltages, Jim -- we talked about these tests, but I could not recall the values.
