Hello listers and fellow lurkers.

I just wanted to throw this out there:

I've been following the list for quite a while now, ever since I had one of 
the many "car won't start" problems. I continued reading about all sorts of 
things, some entertaining, some sad and some educational.

My point is, I've learned a lot by just reading the list and would like to 
thank the many posters and respondents (especially Jim and Russ) for their 
efforts. I'm sure I'm not the only one to benefit from the outside looking in.

For example, my car recently began to miss or stutter, as it was so aptly 
described. From reading the past week or so, I was lead to check out the 
resistance in the spark plug wires and found the source of the problem. In my case the 
number three wire wasn't seated firmly onto the connector. By trimming a 
little off the end and reattaching the wire I've eliminated the stutter that had 
me thinking about clogged fuel lines, sediment in the tank, faulty injectors or 
other costly solutions.

So again, thank you to all who contribute here.
