[T3] heat/inner quarter seal (case closed!)
<x-flowed>I changed the seals (both the inner quarter and the inner-inner quarter
(under the air intake vent itself) which were much worse than I had thought
when I actually got them off and inspected the,. On the test drive I
noticed a small difference in temperature... maybe 5 degrees lower all
around. Since it's 85 degrees out today (5-10 deg hotter then it was on
previous road tests) I'd say this is a significant improvement of a solid
10-15 degrees. With the temp a steady 190F on a 75 mph run up cajon pass, I
think the overheating issue has been solved. Many, many thanks to all who
responded with tips/suggestions!!
