I had vapor lock from the metal fuel line resting on the hot manifold. I used a bit of wire to support the line so it wouldn't do that and never had that problem again for the last 22 years.

I cleaned the coconut husk material in mine with a kerosene bath. Cheaper and less cancer causing.
