<x-flowed>SteveJ: The 009 is not the best choice, but neither is the Bus 
distributor for your configuration. You'd probably do better to skip the 
vac advance (because finding useful vacuum from your aftermarket carbs 
will be tricky at best) and go with a Type 3 FI distributor. It will 
have a vac can, but you don't have to use it to get a decent advance curve.
