Re: [T3] stud removal

JimA=> Have you ever done this successfully, Steve?

I've had a stud or two come out relatively easily, for no particular reason, but no, I wouldn't call it likely, just worth a try.

The real question is how badly chewed-up that stud is. If a thread chaser might work, fine, but I figured if it came to the list he was already past that and the stud is undersize trash. I also gather he's trying to fix it with the engine and exhaust in the car; I'd much rather pull the motor, at the very least the exhaust and heat exchangers, and clear some space to work. But trying to get in there around the exhaust with an easy-out, etc. will be hard.
