Do all the bolts on that wheel look bad? I wonder if it might have been driven with loose lug bolts on that wheel at some time. > BTW, this is the correct hub, right? > > http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1,1&item=4552752344&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT Yes, that's the part. I'm not sure how heavy it actually is; I don't think of them as heavy, but that's relative. I don't recall if they are thin enough that I could slip one in a Global Priority Mail envelope. If so, a few lug bolts could slip in there, too. Still, finding one locally is always your best option. -- Jim Adney jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, WI 53711-3054 USA ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
