Re: [T3] Gutless / No torque / No power leaving a stop

That should be fine, although you could try upping it to 30 to see if that
helps. The most important thing to do would be to check the pressure under
load, which requires that you have someone watch the pressure while you're
actually driving. You want to make sure that the pressure is being maintained
during those episodes.

I will raise it to 30 and see what happens under load.

Just to make sure: Was the screen replaced, or just the filter? They are 2
different parts. The screen is actually mounted in the tank outlet, while the
filter is a separate box beneath the tank.

Filter replaced at recent tune up and screen was replaced last fall.

1) How's your overflow hose at the gas filler pipe? They are often cracked
and
that will let water into the tank, which will lead to all kinds of problems.

I will check this today.

2) Measure the charging system regulating voltage:

Charging system checks out. 12.5 volts at idle. Peaks at just over 14 volts
as RPM increase.

Low system voltage will make the FI run rich, and this is a common problem
with
the FI cars. It boils down to nothing more than a worn out voltage regulator.
If you want more info, I have a charging system FAQ which you can use to sort
out charging system problems which you may be having. Email me directly if
you
want a copy.

I'll take all the help I can get. Thanks.
