Should I coat the pan gasket with anything > before installing it? I don't remember if it can go on more than one way. If you have a choice, I'd tend to put it with the drain to the rear. If the gasket is cork, I'd oil it with ATF first. Then discard the split lock washers that came under those bolts and use the Belleville washers I sent you.
