Re: [T3] Fuel hose connector

<x-flowed>I've had the same experience as you once, that the brass fitting came out of a carburettor. I just tapped it in place, tight of course, with a hammer, and havent experienced a leak since. I believe vibrations and constant temperature changes can make them come loose, I hardly think the pressure from the fuel pump is enough to "blow" it out.

Hello T3ers
had an interesting experience on my way home tonight when just before I got
home I lost power and began to smell fuel. I pulled up to discover that the
righthand carb had blown the brass connector and fuel hose out and was
happily spraying fuel everywhere!
Loctite 601 (or something called "wickin"?) has been suggested as a fix -
all further input gratefully received.
