The part number 7395 would be a Gates or Dayco part number. Not sure what Goodyear's equivalent would be. By the way, the part number is translated as follows 7- #7 size belt, I forget how wide the sizes were. Common were 7, 8, and 9, increasing in thickness. 395- 39.5 inches, which is, uh, 1000mm or 1m. The T1 belt is a 7355 according to one parts guide, which would make it 4 inches shorter in total length. I would have thought the T1 belt to be much shorter, since the crank pulley is smaller I think the genny is closer to the crank. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
