[T3] Carb rebuild question

Well, I am embarking on the disassembly of the dual carb setup that I 
bought from John and I just thought that I should check to see if 
there is anything that I should be particularly careful with. I have 
purchased some carb cleaner and have disassembled one carb as per the 
new Bently. It's in pretty good shape but kind of gummed up. Can I 
soak everything in the cleaner? Thanks.
