A few weeks ago I was out in the Bay Area in CA. Saw no T3s, but did see a couple T1s tooling around. The strangest sight was a car I could not identify- thought it was some custom bug from a distance at first because it had the same general shape and was rear engined, with lots of louvers on the rear hatch. As I got closer, I realized it was something else entirely. I asked the owner (we were stuck in traffic) if it was an old SAAB (which was my best first guess) but it turned out it was an early 50's Renault 4CV - pictured here: http://www.4cvuk.co.uk/os_view.jpg And you thought our T3s are hard to find parts for. :) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
