the VIN on the pan starts with 367, so that means it's a 67 pan right? and it matches my title which says '67.


Anyhow, it seems my two choices here are go hydraulic clutch,
or repair/beef up the clutch tube, and beef up the pedal assembly, and cable. [and leg]


For repairing the tube, would it still be resonable to create something
to go over the clutch and accelerator tubes, and simply weld back there.
[ ie, a more complicated washer trick. ] Or would I have get the
tunnel cut open and weld everything inside? Where do people cut to do that?
or is it best to just avoid that all together?
