Just to push this completely off-topic ;) ...

We have a VW/Audi dealership in the family and over the last few years 
a whole new maintenance issue has come up with the new cars in the 
showroom: Especially the high-end models must have their battery 
re-charged every few weeks. They run so much gadgetry even with the car 
not running that batteries get sucked dry if you're not looking. This 
was never the case before. That's an issue no alternator can solve ;)
