Re: TMI question....WAS Now blue on blue..

<x-flowed>Along this TMI line of questioning, I have a '63 Notchback and want to go with the stock seat covers if possible. I have heard the pattern of the old Type 3's is NLA. Does anyone know if this is true and what, besides trying to find some OG material, do people usually install?

TMI should be able to match the OE color pretty well. The repro sets have a few problems with "correctness", however. Does anyone here have an "in" with TMI? It would be easy for them to fix their errors if someone could just get their attention.

The worst problem is that the rear panel of the front seat bottom skirt should be smooth, yet everyone provides it in basketweave.

You got a list of these errors? I'm really thinking of going with TMI for my interior components, but I want to know what doesn't fit right- particularly in carpet, since I'm really thinking of going with tweed on my seats in a stunning departure from OE.

Also, can/should I go to TMI directly for sample materials? I saw
someone selling the sample book for $15, but I don't need it that bad.
Plus, I only care about blues.
