That sounds like a pretty good idea. I had a thought about it being the shocks myself. Would it do much harm to spray anything up inside them to see if it is? New front shocks can't be that expensive, I might just have to start replacing old parts and shout loudly when it finally goes away. m. -----Original Message----- From: Jim Adney You could try parking it up on blocks a bit and have someone push up and down on the nose while you try to listen underneath. If it's really that bad, just coming down from being jacked up, my guess is that it's the shock absorbers. You may even be able to feel the vibrating part while it is squeaking. It is extremely unlikely that it is anything that can be cured by spraying it with something. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
