Huh? Grease on rubber bushings is likely to do more harm than good, as many rubber products don't do well with petroleum products. Rubber bushings are not meant to be lubricated, they should "squirm" internally to allow flexibility. It's the use of rubber bushings which has made modern cars no longer require lubrication. The only bushings that fit your description are inboard and quite a bit lower than the the tops of the shock towers. I've never noticed squeaks coming from those, anyway. -- Jim Adney jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, WI 53711-3054 USA ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
