I have it in one of mine and it is great.  I even got an 
original light from a junkyard and put it in there.

You could also put them in hatch door.  To do this you need 
to strengthen the way the panel is held onto the hatch and 
the grill to the speaker.  Otherwise you will have things 
popping off when you close the hatch.
