While we're on the subject, what sort of real-world numbers should be expected for MT cars, too? My '69 with D-Jet is only getting about 24mpg in my usual loop (some surface streets, but mostly 60mph or so freeway cruising). The PO said it was 32mpg, which sounded high, but 24mpg seems low.
