I'm envious. I'd LOVE to see that place!   ;-)  

I'm sure they still have the same equipment, but the problem is whether the 
people working there still have the same amount of experience. I wouldn't be 
surprised if they still did top notch work on Rabbits, but one has to wonder 
how many aircooled cases they get in these days. I'll bet that they used to see 
20 a day; now it may be 20 a year.

I agree completely with you on the "when a guy says" thing. It's only because 
it was John Connelly that said it that I really paid any attention at all. 
OTOH, RIMCO DID send me a cracked reground crank about 20 years ago. They made 
good on it, but I paid shipping both ways. Their excuse was that "it is a lot 
easier to do nice work on aluminum." That may well be right, even if not 
completely accurate, but it didn't excuse the fact that they should have been 
tapping every crank to make sure that it would ring, both before and after 
regrinding. This is such a simple test that I figure it should be a no-brainer.
