The paper tubes and the alum/paper tubes all get rather brittle with a little age. Then they break up. The concern here is that there is some relative motion between the engine and the body, so if these hoses lose their flexibility they will disintegrate. This is a real problem for all of us, so it would be nice to find a real solution. -- ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
