Just wanted to report that it is actually possible to install a fiberglass rear apron on our cars, if anyone is thinking about this option. It took a couple of hours of grinding and sanding down the high spots on the inside of the FG panel to get it to fit properly, but in the end (literally) it looks very nice. The outer surface of the panel (from glass-action.com) is very smooth and easy to finish. If anyone has questions, i'm happy to share more info.
