Sorry, I didn't mean to recommend them for the OE wheels. You're right; 205s would be WAY too wide for 4.5s. I once bought a car that came with a set on 5.5s, however. Mine were not low enough profile to keep the car down where it belonged, so the handling was terrible, AND the PO had bent the fenders out to clear them. They were awful and I replaced them quickly. Restoring the OE wheels and tires improved the handling and stability immensely. -- Jim Adney jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, WI 53711-3054 USA ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
