The tires on our T Bird are at least 40 years old. They are good quality Good year and look like new. Probably because they never see the sun or hot highway use... If I had a trip planned Id probably change them. I think its the sun and heat the takes out the rubber on tires, good ones may indeed last a long time but alot of the cheap crap on the market I wouldnt trust after too many years. I do alot of high speed highway crusing and dont trust old rubber. Keith > I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest that many people make much too much > of a fuss about old tires.
