The dash changed in 71, so 71-73 dashes are different. I know that 68-70 dashes are alike, but they changed sometime before that. Reproduction dashes usually come as the latest version and don't fit earlier cars quite right. With some effort, however, you can make them look reasonably nice. The biggest problem will be that the different versions fastened differently, so you may have to improvise. To install your new one, remove the glove box and the grab handle. Mark the steering wheel position on its shaft and remove the wheel. Remove all 3 instruments. -- ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
