No, it was LT hand drive. I know the guy that build it in Fayetteville North
Carolina, Brian Dunham, he sold it to an army guy back in the early 90s. And
you are correct it is a spare piece cut out of a hatch so you can cover the
back when convertible.

a better option - sounds as if it's a spare piece in the cabrio version.
