It's pretty normal. With a hot engine the oil is at its thinnest, so when you slow down the pressure drops. If the engine is slightly worn, or your oil pressure switch is set a bit high, then the light can come on. As long as this only happens under these conditions I wouldn't worry about it. You might want to consider whether you still have winter weight oil in the engine. If so, it's time to change. I don't recommend going heavier than SAE 40, however. -- Jim Adney jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, WI 53711-3054 USA ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
